I drew a girl from a picture that was advertising a dress, it was really quite pretty and seeing as how I hadn't drawn for a while I thought I'd give it a go.Tthis was the picture I drew from:
This is how my drawing turned out. I had sketched the outlines roughly in pencil, then went over it with a Bic biro pen (which I so love doing!).
It's not exact I know! I kind of made a few parts up and I had to stop before I went even more crazy with the shading! When I'd finished, I thought I'd add some colour using photoshop and this is what I came up with:
Ignore the green bits! At the last minute I chose to add a gradient in the background and must have layered it up wrong, oops!
Anyway I hope to be doing more soon, and I might even scan in a few of my older drawings and add colour to them on Photoshop too!
